These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern access to and use of the Noemi mobile app and the noemiapp.co website (together, the “Service”), operated by YibiHuge S.A.S. BIC, a company incorporated in Colombia (“we”, “us”). By downloading, installing or using the Service you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What Noemi is

Noemi is a Christian devotional app offering a daily verse, declarations of faith, a prayer journal encrypted on your device, Bible reading plans, prayer audio and an AI-based faith companion. The Service has a spiritual and devotional purpose.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in jurisdictions where that is the minimum age to consent to data processing) to use the Service. If you are a minor under the law of your country, you need the authorisation of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Your account

Noemi automatically creates an anonymous account on your device. We do not ask for a name, email address or password. You are responsible for the device you use to access the Service. If you uninstall the app or change devices, locally stored data may be irreversibly lost; we do not offer recovery of local content.

4. Acceptable use

When using the Service you agree not to:

  • use it for unlawful purposes or to harm, harass or impersonate others;
  • attempt unauthorised access to our systems, or reverse engineer, decompile or extract the app’s source code;
  • use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service or generate artificial load on the faith companion;
  • reproduce, resell or distribute Service content beyond personal, non-commercial use;
  • enter third-party sensitive data or unlawful content into the chat.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these rules.

5. AI faith companion

Companion responses are generated by artificial intelligence models and may contain errors, inaccuracies or incomplete interpretations. They are offered solely as spiritual companionship.

Noemi is not a medical, psychological, legal, financial or emergency service, and it does not replace the care of a health professional, a counsellor, a minister or any other qualified professional. If you are in danger or thinking of harming yourself, contact your local emergency services immediately (for example, 988 in the United States, 112 in the European Union, 123 in Colombia or 188 / CVV in Brazil).

If you receive an offensive, harmful or inappropriate response, report it to noemi@yibihuge.tech. We review reports and act, where appropriate, within 24 business hours.

6. Free plan and subscriptions

The daily devotional and the core prayer tools are free. Noemi Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks unlimited chat with the faith companion, the complete reading plans and the sound prayer library.

  • Billing: payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account upon confirmation of purchase. We never receive, see or store your card details.
  • Price: shown in the app before you confirm and adapted to your country. Prices may change; any change will be communicated before it applies to your renewal.
  • Free trial: where a trial period is offered, the subscription converts automatically to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand.
  • Renewal: the subscription renews automatically for the same period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Cancellation: you can cancel at any time in your Apple or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid; you keep access until then.
  • Refunds: handled entirely by Apple or Google under their policies. We do not process refunds directly.

Purchases made on iOS are additionally subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).

7. Bible and third-party content

Bible texts included in the Service are used under the applicable licences or public domain terms. Apple, App Store, Google and Google Play are trademarks of their respective owners; mentioning them implies no sponsorship or affiliation.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, its design, brand, original devotional texts, audio and software belong to YibiHuge S.A.S. BIC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the Service under these Terms.

Content you write (journal, altar of intentions) belongs to you. As explained in the Privacy Policy, it is encrypted on your device and never sent to our servers, so we do not use, publish or analyse it.

9. Availability and changes to the Service

We work to keep the Service continuously available, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features. If a paid feature is substantially discontinued, we will give you reasonable prior notice.

10. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Service, nor for decisions you make based on AI-generated content. Our total aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under the mandatory law of your country of residence, including your rights as a consumer.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your data from Settings → Privacy → Delete my data and my account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if required by law.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will publish the current version on this page with its date and, where changes are material, notify you inside the app before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new version.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Colombia, unless the law of your habitual residence grants you the right to bring proceedings before the courts of your domicile.
